Justice Kilbride Judge of the Year

The Illinois Chapter of ABOTA is proud to announce that Justice Thomas Kilbride of the Illinois Supreme Court has agreed to accept the Chapter’s award as Judge of the Year. 

The award will be presented at the Chapter’s annual luncheon to be held at noon on November 20, 2009 at the University Club in Chicago.

The award is conferred in recognition of a long and distinguished career in private practice in Rock Island, Illinois, culminating in Justice Kilbride’s election to the Supreme Court in 2000.  Since his election he has authored a continuing stream of erudite opinions dealing with all facets of the law in a manner rendering full justice to the parties.
